Judge Karen Champion’s comments on awarding Kamira the Judges Choice for the 2022 Suri Network Fleece Show Spin Off, “Maintaining fineness and all the other desirable uniformity traits, well prepared, and practically spun itself,” is supported by the data: Kamira’s histogram as a 2 year, 7 month old shows an AFD of 23.8 and SDAFD of 5.0…her histogram at 8 years, 7 months shows an AFD of 23.7 and SDAFD of 4.9. That’s maintaining fineness and uniformity! Kamira’s histogram data is backed up by her EPD’s with Top 5% rankings in AFD, SDAFD, Spin Fineness, %Fibers>30, and Staple Length.
We purchased Kamira pregnant for a Spring 2022 cria by Whistling Pines Bold Ruler, a Crown Prince son, noted for his uniformity, luster and fineness. Kamira’s Bold Prince arrived after exactly 11 months of gestation, weighing 20lbs even and with dense, lustrous locks from head to toe.
